Jeans for Genes Day / London College of Fashion T-shirt Competition Winner 2012

For the 5th year running Jeans for Genes Day has teamed up with students from the BA (Hons) Fashion Illustration Course at London College of Fashion (LCF)  to design an iconic T-shirt to help promote Jeans for Genes Day. We are delighted to announce the winner of this year’s competition (drum roll) …. Mr Bradley Harper!

We asked Bradley, 19, why he wanted to work with Jeans for Genes Day, the inspiration behind his stunning design and how the competition has helped his university course…

“I’ve always been interested in fashion and been able to draw for as long as I can remember so the mixture of the two seems like the perfect option for me. I wanted to enter the competition because I think that Jeans for Genes Day raises money for an amazing cause and I was so excited to get involved. The inspiration for my winning design was taken from the fashion trends around this season, which is floral and feminine. Winning the competition has boosted my confidence and made me want to work even harder”

“The advice I would give to students entering the competition next year is to be imaginative and adventurous as any design could be chosen”
