Disowned Denim Project

We have had some fantastic support from the students on the Production Arts course at NEW College, Worcestershire.

The talented bunch have designed an eye-catching collection of denim garments especially for Jeans for Genes Day.

Course leader Laura Callard had contacted Jeans for Genes Day to collaborate on this project so the students would be able to work to a professional brief.

The jean-ius creations received their debut at the college’s catwalk show and boy did they go down well!

The students have had the pleasure and prestige of working with the renowned fashion photographer Alistair Cowin who brought his years of experience and his creative flare to this unique collaboration. Sammy Carpenter took on the role of photo shoot creative director and we think the results are wonderful!

The students will also be at Clothes Show Live in December, selling bags and small accessories with proceeds being donated to Jeans for Genes Day! Please visit them at stand XBB30 in Hall6 to see all of their handy-work!

Jeans for Genes Day would like to thank all of the students who created these dynamic denim garments, you are brilliant!
